Operator (full-time / possibly part-time by arrangement) 

Job duties: 

  • Hospitable reception and placating of guests
  • Operational duties, such as taking orders
  • Taking care of mise en place
  • Providing information regarding the menu or other matters

Vacancy: Breakfast/Lunch Cook (Fulltime) at Restaurant Savarin

Are you a passionate cook with a love for breakfast and lunch? Restaurant Savarin, located next to our luxury five-star hotel and exclusive city spa, is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated breakfast/lunch cook to join our team.

What are you going to do?
As a breakfast/lunch cook, you will ensure that our hotel and spa guests start the day with a delicious breakfast and can enjoy a tasty lunch. You will work with fresh ingredients and contribute to a top-level culinary experience. 

  • Your duties include:
    Preparing, preparing and passing breakfast and lunch dishes.
  • Ensuring a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Receiving and putting away orders.
  • Working according to HACCP guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene.
  • Who are you?
    You are someone with a passion for cooking and an eye for detail. In addition, you possess the following attributes:
  • Proactive work ethic - you see work lying around and pick it up.
  • Team player - working together and communicating with your colleagues comes easily to you.
  • Flexible - you are available both on weekdays and weekends.
  • No 9-to-5 mentality - your working hours vary between 07:00 and 19:00.
  • Knowledge of HACCP - you work according to the current hygiene regulations.

Vacancy Breakfast Employee

Breakfast Employee (full-time) 

Duties: 

  • Preparing the breakfast buffet
  • Welcoming guests
  • Serving breakfast to our hotel guests
  • Live cooking (frying eggs and pancakes)
  • Keeping the breakfast buffet in order / replenishing where needed
  • Clearing the tables
  • Maintaining the dishes
  • Cleaning the breakfast room and getting it ready for the next day
  • Starting up banquet rooms 
  • Serving lunch banqueting parties 
  • Starting up Bar | Bistro in preparation for lunch 

Job Requirements:

  • Command of Dutch, English and French or German is a plus.

Independent working cook (full-time) 

Duties: 

  • Prepare high quality dishes according to recipe and specifications.
  • Monitoring the quality and presentation of dishes.
  • Stock control and ordering of ingredients.
  • Ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
  • Contributing creatively to the development of new menu items.
  • Adhering to all food safety standards and hygiene guidelines.
  • Assist in the development of junior kitchen staff.


Job Requirements: 

  • Demonstrated experience as an Independent Working Chef in a similar setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and methods.
  • Able to work independently and perform under pressure.
  • Creative and innovative in coming up with new dishes.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibly employable, including weekends and holidays.
