Operator (full-time / possibly part-time by arrangement) 

Job duties: 

  • Hospitable reception and placating of guests
  • Operational duties, such as taking orders
  • Taking care of mise en place
  • Providing information regarding the menu or other matters
  • Preparing the bill
  • Handling payments
  • Clearing and cleaning tables
  • Maintaining contact and providing service to guests

Vacancy Front Office Associate in our Hotel

Front Office employee sought (part-time / possibly full-time by arrangement) 

Job duties: 

  • Employable weekdays and weekend days, working hours between 6:30 a.m. and 11 p.m.
  • Receiving and speaking to guests
  • Checking hotel guests in and out
  • Taking and processing hotel and restaurant reservations, both by phone and by email.
  • Operating the switchboard
  • Starting up and closing the cash register system
  • Minibar and turndown service

Job requirements: 

  • MBO working and thinking level
  • Thorough knowledge of the hotel industry (at least 1 year Front Office experience)
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English
  • Knowledge of German and French is a plus
  • Experience with hotel system is a plus (preferably MEWS)
  • You are customer friendly, stress resistant and representative
  • Works accurately
  • Good communication skills
  • Guest-oriented with great empathy
  • Can work independently


Schedule:

  • Evening work 14:30-23:00
  • Day shift 06:30 -15:00

Breakfast Employee (full-time) 

Duties: 

  • Preparing the breakfast buffet
  • Welcoming guests
  • Serving breakfast to our hotel guests
  • Live cooking (frying eggs and pancakes)
  • Keeping the breakfast buffet in order / replenishing where needed
  • Clearing the tables
  • Maintaining the dishes
  • Cleaning the breakfast room and getting it ready for the next day
  • Starting up banquet rooms 
  • Serving lunch banqueting parties 
  • Starting up Bar | Bistro in preparation for lunch

Duties: 

  • Prepare high quality dishes according to recipe and specifications.
  • Monitoring the quality and presentation of dishes.
  • Stock control and ordering of ingredients.
  • Ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
  • Contributing creatively to the development of new menu items.
  • Adhering to all food safety standards and hygiene guidelines.
  • Assist in the development of junior kitchen staff.


Job Requirements: 

  • Demonstrated experience as an Independent Working Chef in a similar setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and methods.
  • Able to work independently and perform under pressure.
  • Creative and innovative in coming up with new dishes.
